I started practising hatha yoga in 1998 and I have taught since finishing my teacher training in 2004. In 2007 I completed a further advanced teacher training. I practiced ashtanga vinyasa between 2007 and 2009. I loved the movement and the perseverance, but it was not the right programme for my body. I kept the vinyasa and combined it into a more varied approach.
I started meditating in 2004 and have practised different techniques including mantra, zen and vipassana. Since 2012 I combine vipassana with meditation on the inner sounds.
In 2017 I started practising HIIT with Sadie Nardini (Yoga Shred) as training for my dance practice. In 2018 I completed her online training. In January 2020 I started to teach my own approach: HIIT on a MAT. This is a powerful, body-friendly and empowering workout for varied body-types and abilities. I apply everything I know and keep learning about the body – and that includes treating it with respect and love so that it will thrive.
I am a physical actress and also a Gestalt practitioner. All my work is an expression of my passionate curiosity about human nature and life.
